Self-initiated concept product / engineering demonstration. Pulse is not a social network. Every person, post, message, reaction and notification is fictional demo data, avatars are generated gradients rather than photographs of real people, and nothing is sent anywhere.

Pulse is a social and messaging app: a feed with a stories rail and double-tap to like, a full-screen story viewer, an inbox with unread and group filters, conversations with image and voice messages, long-press reactions and photo attachments, grouped notifications, and a profile with post and saved grids.

The interactions people actually use in a social app are implemented rather than implied: double-tap to like, long-press for a reaction bar, hold-to-pause on a story, swipeable filters and a composer with a simulated on-screen keyboard so typing looks and feels native in the recordings.

React 19 and TypeScript bundled with Vite, animated with Motion — a web-hosted mobile simulation, not a compiled binary. One navigation stack per tab keeps a conversation where you left it; the unread, reaction and typing states live in a typed reducer, and an incoming reply is simulated on a timer so the conversation behaves like a live one.
