Stability

Motion-heavy apps often feel fine on first load and degrade after ten navigations.

Scroll-linked animations, a smooth-scroll instance, a custom cursor and a transition overlay all hold state. If any of it leaks between routes, the app slowly gets worse.

What was tested

  • ScrollTrigger count after a multi-route loop equals a fresh load
  • Exactly one smooth-scroll instance
  • No stuck transition overlay or scroll lock
  • No cursor state carried over after navigation
  • Rapid double clicks produce one navigation; back/forward stay clean

These checks run as part of the interaction suite, so a regression shows up before release rather than in a user’s tenth minute on the site.
